Honestly can't say where this one came from, it just kind of appeared in my brain with very little encouragement. Thank you for dropping by and I hope you enjoy it.

The Price

It was the biggest jewel Lani had ever seen; at least two inches across and the most beautiful sapphire blue.

"Just one night?" he asked.

"Just one," the dark eyed man replied.

"Why?"

"My brother says you are the most talented whore in the kingdom. When you have sex you channel the great spirits, do you not?"

He nodded; it was the curse that had given him his life. The whore master had bought him when he was only eleven and had him trained.

"That will buy your freedom," the man said; "nothing as precious as you should be enslaved."
