Drabble Cascade #8 - Word of The Week is 'summer'

Well, the Drabble Cascades have been running now for 8 weeks! We have a wonderful cohort of regulars submitting their 100 word masterpieces to us and long may that continue, but this week, to mix things up a bit, we're adding a new category of story to the Cascades. As well as the drabbles, pieces of exactly 100 words, we're also looking for Flash Fiction, short fictions of 500 words or less. The only rule is, whichever category you pick, be inspired by our word of the week!

This post is suitable for all.

The Way A Cascade Works

To those struck by inspiration (and no you don't have to be a professional writer to join in, anyone can embrace their inner author):

• Below you will find a chance to join in the cascade in the form of a linked list
• Post a drabble/flash fiction to your own blog, or website 
• Then insert a link into the linked list to that drabble/flash fiction for everyone to find (A hint of the genre of your drabble in the title of your post would be appreciated.)
• To encourage your friends to join in and hence cascade the fun, you can also add the list into your own post by clicking on the chain-link icon and copying the code:).

For folks who enjoy reading drabbles/flash fiction: you can then peruse the cascade to your heart's content :).

So What Can You Write?

The simple answer is - anything! Our work here on FB3X will be erotically themed. but feel free to take the inspiration any way you want to, fiction, fanfiction, non-fiction, meta, since variety is the spice of life!

Our drabble for this week is Boys of Summer which is PG13, and in our flash fiction category, we've a little fic for you called Love In Creation, it is PG13.

List.ly is slightly different from other lists, like Simply Linked, rather than supplying your email address, the first time you add an item to the Drabble Cascade list, you'll be asked to create a user on list.ly, which will then allow you to edit any list item you create on any list.ly list thereafter.
