The Way Drabblerotic Works

it's really very simple. We'll write a drabble every day inspired by our word of the day and we want you to be inspired too, just write :). Our theme this year is
Animal Magnetism
And we're being inspired by the fauna of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Our word today is
S is for Seahorse.

Author's Note

Okay, so I cheated a bit today, because, although the creature above is the real living seahorse, my thoughts drifted to a more supernatural one, the kelpie of Scottish Legend.

~
He woke to the warmth of the morning sun, cool water lapping at his heels. Remembering the stranger from the waves, he smiled. Naked muscle framed only by wild white hair running like a mane into the surf.

No words needed, he had stepped into the foam. They had rutted into the night, lusts as savage as a storm until ecstasy had taken him into oblivion.

Sitting up, his body as well as his mind singing with memory, he looked out across the waves. It was true what they said, kelpie enticed men to their deaths, but only little ones.

    1. Great story. And it's not cheating it's imagination ;)

    2. No such word as cheating when it comes to imagination. It has to soar free, no matter what the creator thinks or wants.
