The Way Drabblerotic Works

it's really very simple. We'll write a drabble every day inspired by our word of the day and we want you to be inspired too, just write :). Our theme this year is
Animal Magnetism
And we're being inspired by the fauna of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Our word today is
A is for Adder.

Author's Note

I had a look at the picture of an adder, and I was always taught as a child how to identify it compared with other British snakes, so it was the diamond pattern that sets it out that inspired by story today.

The new zigzag pattern down his bare spine set Lucien apart. Women averted their eyes, men stepped aside when he walked down the street. It made him uncomfortable, but he could do nothing about the serpent mark his spirit guide had left him with, only, by law, display it.

A light touch over the troublesome marks made him start; he turned sharply. A handsome smile and twinkling eyes greeted his shock. Their owner stepped right up to him, warm breath falling onto his face and fingers dancing over the small of his back.

“Viper, I have been looking for you.”

To see all the entries in Drabblerotic, check out the list at the bottom of this post.

A drabble is a work of 100 words exactly. Flash fiction is a work of up to 500 words. Both may be submitted to Drabblerotic.

So What Can You Write? The simple answer is - anything! Our work here on FB3X will be erotically themed. but feel free to take the inspiration any way you want to, fiction, fanfiction, non-fiction, meta, any genre you want to write, since variety is the spice of life!
