The Way Drabblerotic Works

it's really very simple. We'll write a drabble every day inspired by our word of the day and we want you to be inspired too, just write :). Our theme this year is
Animal Magnetism
And we're being inspired by the fauna of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Our word today is
M is for Magpie.

Steal My Heart (m/m, PG13, Fantasy)
by Sophie Duncan

Author's Note

Magpies are known as thieves, good ones, so that is who became the centre of my piece today.

Thievery came easily to Jamie, but stealing a kiss was something novel, especially considering his chosen partner. He shuddered as Max’s body pressed against his, forcing him hard against the wall, and he groaned into their embrace. Max’s magic lit up every fibre of his being and Jamie’s mind reeled with both desire and disbelief: what was a grubby pickpocket doing in the arms of a ruling mage?

The answer didn’t matter as Max broke their kiss. Eyes ablaze with sorcery, gasping his words, his lover confirmed what Jamie’s body was already telling him, “I’ve missed you, my fine magpie.”

To see all the entries in Drabblerotic, check out the list at the bottom of this post.

A drabble is a work of 100 words exactly. Flash fiction is a work of up to 500 words. Both may be submitted to Drabblerotic.

So What Can You Write? The simple answer is - anything! Our work here on FB3X will be erotically themed. but feel free to take the inspiration any way you want to, fiction, fanfiction, non-fiction, meta, any genre you want to write, since variety is the spice of life!
