Fantasy Boys XXX is joining in the The Blogging From A to Z April Challenge with Drabblerotic 2014

where will be posting a drabble* every weekday and Saturday in April brought to you by the letters A-Z, although this isn't Sesame Street, so expect a little adult spice in our alphabet soup. ;)

PLUS - if you'd like to add your own drabble, then please do, just put it in the comments, or post on your own blog and link in to the list.ly list at the bottom of the post :).

*'So, what is a drabble anyway?' we hear some of you ask. And the answer is, a drabble is a piece of prose of (exactly) 100 words.

So, without further ado, onto today's drabble...

I is for Ingot

Author's Note

Not sure why when thinking about gold ingots this was the first use for one that popped into my head! ;P

A Gold-Sealed Promise

by Sophie Duncan

Charlie really hoped Tony, the museum night watchman, would not notice the bulge in his pants. Smuggling items out of the place had never been on his agenda when he'd asked to examine the Horace Collection. But then he hadn't expected to be fucked six ways from Sunday by a god and then have a gold ingot shoved up his arse as a promise for later either.

Wrapping his coat round himself, he shuffled out of the door, trying to look casual - difficult when all he could think about was exactly how Deimos had promised to remove the ingot, personally.

  1. Oh my! That's an awkward situation. Now I want to know more about the promised removal process. :)

    1. My thoughts exactly. A delicate proposition, that removal, that should be read for detail.

  2. For years he worked in the silver mine, slaving away each day of each week. It was all but dried up, as his sweat poured down off his body. Little by little did he have enough to make an ingot, an unusual currency for an unusual request.

Once made, he traveled to the city under the cloak of darkness, in fear of others taking his destiny. He sought the man who would bring his dream to reality. Once upon his face, he gave the man the ingot of silver, the payment to that of his daughter for his to have.

    1. This chap was focused on his goal, but how does the daughter feel about this?

    2. Depends on the culture and the age of the world. Some cultures in history required an offering be made to marry off a girl, as a financial transaction. Not saying its right, but saying it happened.

I imagine the two are in love, since the man worked years in a silver mine to be able to marry her. If it was simply a financial transaction, A) the father would have sold her off long ago, and 2) the man wouldn't have worked so hard. I'm betting though the Father gave the man a hard task to see if he was worthy.

I didn't really think about this until now. It only took me 2 minutes to write that above and I spent more time trying to get to 100 words.

  3. Should we be concerned that this is where your mind went to first when thinking about ingots? LOL!

  4. LOL I have to admit my mind went to my bank account, which would like that ingot and then laughter got me as I tried to imagine him walking. Interesting!
