where will be posting a drabble* every weekday and Saturday in April brought to you by the letters A-Z, although this isn't Sesame Street, so expect a little adult spice in our alphabet soup. ;)

PLUS - if you'd like to add your own drabble, then please do, just put it in the comments, or post on your own blog and link in to the list.ly list at the bottom of the post :).

*'So, what is a drabble anyway?' we hear some of you ask. And the answer is, a drabble is a piece of prose of (exactly) 100 words.

So, without further ado, onto today's drabble...

Author's Note

I knew I'd write a vampire drabble sooner or later, turns out it was sooner :) Thanks to everyone reading, I hope you are enjoying the AtoZChallenge.

Locked Door

by Tasha D-Drake

Mother had always told him not to go through the little red door. All his life she had kept it locked. Now she was gone and he had the key and he knew why. The creature pinning him down was not human. The fangs in his neck gave that much away.

He also didn't much care, because it was the most erotic sensation he had ever felt.

"Give yourself to me and we can have forever," the vampire broke away and whispered in his ear.

"Yes," he replied.

Mother had smothered him, kept him safe; he had never wanted safe.

  2. Nice! Now my imagination is working overtime, speculating as to what might happen next. I have a dirty imagination, but it's more fun that way!

  6. The door to the old cottage was always locked tight. No one dare go near the door. Yet Unger was dared to touch it by his friends. "Touch the door handle, you coward."

Unger was going to do it. But as he reached for it, the door opened up. He felt a coldness from within the cottage, and his mind was saying run, but he felt something pull his heart in.

The door closed behind him and a vapor floating before him, what looked like a fair maiden.

"I am now yours to do as you please with me, Master."

    2. That was definitely a better turn up for Unger than the chap who rescued the lass from the ice :). I am loving these drabbles. Thanks for playing.
