B is for Bonds
So for some people magical bonds make them want to run for the hills, I love them, hence I had to pick this prompt word. Of course you can't do an epic in 100 words, but I still had fun :).
A Matter of Time
by Tasha D-Drake
After a week Jac stopped trying to run.
After a month he realised it was no more Mal's fault than it was his.
After three months he had his revenge on the damn sorcerer who had declared he was the only consort for the prince and magically bonded them. The potion had made the mage walk naked through the whole town.
After six months he decided he actually quite liked Mal.
After eight months they had sex for the first time and it was mind-blowing and Jac began to feel guilty for taking revenge; the old sod had been right.

*GRINS* Sweet in a purely lecherous way. I like the progression through the relationship with the time markers.

ReplyDeleteI've heard of flash fiction, but not the word "drabble". Interesting bit of fiction. Very hookish!
ReplyDeleteDrabbles are so much fun, only 100 words to play with makes a great challenge. :)
DeleteWonderful! I could get addicted to this;)
ReplyDeleteThank you :) Drabbles are so much fun.
DeleteAww, cute. Though now I want to know Mal's thoughts on the matter. I'm imagining him being indulgent and patiently waiting for Jac to realize the sorcerer was right. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the progression, the revenge and the change of heart. Cute and funny.
