Author's Note
Moonlight - for an erotic fantasy author, this was a dream prompt word and I had many, many ideas for it. This one, however, slipped into my head almost fully formed and it surprised me as a first person POV.

I gasped as I took in the beauty of him, the milky, midnight light cascading over his dark hair and shoulders, gently echoing the pale glow of his haunting features.
"My Lord."
I bowed low.
His hand touched my shoulder, his power shuddered into me, and I straightened rapidly, my whole being taking notice of him now.
He smiled at my open stare and, I think, understood my shock. Even if he did not, my soul melted to his will and my body quickly followed. As I leant into his offered embrace, my heart leapt and I knew my eternity.

DeleteMaybe we should encourage our drabblers to create a series of linked drabbles. It would be interesting to see where a story would go led by an inspiration word every week :)
Lovely. Of course, now I want to now who they are, what they are, how they meet, and well. The rest of the story, basically. ;)
