The Way Drabblerotic Works

it's really very simple. We'll write a drabble every day inspired by our word of the day and we want you to be inspired too, just write :). Our theme this year is
Animal Magnetism
And we're being inspired by the fauna of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Our word today is
D is for Dormouse.

The Call (m/m, PG, fantasy)
by Natasha Duncan-Drake

Author's Note

Whenever anyone says Dormouse I am always reminded of Alice in Wonderland and the Dormouse in the teapot who could never stay awake. This is the result of those mental images :). Hope you are having a good AtoZ.

As Kell stepped back into the house he saw the most adorable sight he had seen in a while. His husband was curled in a nest of clean linen, completely dead to the world.

Others might have complained that the wash would have to be done again, Kell simply enjoyed the sight.

Sometimes the call for the gifted to lend their magic came from the Queen at a moment's notice. This one must have caught Marc as he took his turn at the housework.

Kell moved carefully to pick up his exhausted husband and take him to their proper bed.

To see all the entries in Drabblerotic, check out the list at the bottom of this post.

A drabble is a work of 100 words exactly. Flash fiction is a work of up to 500 words. Both may be submitted to Drabblerotic.

So What Can You Write? The simple answer is - anything! Our work here on FB3X will be erotically themed. but feel free to take the inspiration any way you want to, fiction, fanfiction, non-fiction, meta, any genre you want to write, since variety is the spice of life!

To those struck by inspiration (and no you don't have to be a professional writer to join in, anyone can embrace their inner author):
